CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart). A CAPTCHA is a type of challenge-response test used to ensure that a response that is sent in to a form is not generated by a computer. Because other computers are unable to solve the CAPTCHA, any user entering a correct solution is presumed to be human.

This form was receiving large amounts of Spam generated by Spam bots. The problem has been solved using a CAPTCHA challenge.
